IFS Business Interiors is a growing furniture dealership supporting North Florida and South Georgia. Headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, IFS has been serving its customers since 1998. In June 2009, IFS expanded into Jacksonville Florida and we are looking to add a Purchasing/ Accounting Assistant to help support the expanding operation. The position is located in Tallahassee. IFS is seeking experienced candidates which have an established history supporting various aspects of purchasing, finance, and administration.

The ideal candidate should have hands on experience and be able to oversee all daily purchasing, fundamental accounting, and administrative operations, including order processing. Candidate needs to be self motivated and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees, personnel, and vendors.

Skills / Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

• Ability to multi task and pay strong attention to details
• Strong intuitive skills, problem solving aptitude, resourcefulness
• Must be computer literate, well rounded computer skills
• Must be able to set priorities
• Business background with understanding of accounting a plus
• Excellent Communication, Organizational skills
• Knowledge of the Design/Furniture Industry processes is a plus
• College Degree or work related experience preferred

Responsibilities Include:

• Review proposals prior to issuing purchasing
• Submit purchase orders to manufactures
• Coordinate ongoing vendor communications.
• Preparation of Purchase Orders
• Update Purchase Orders
• Contact Vendors
• Communication with Sales Team
• Tracking Product Costing Work with sales group to address outstanding questions
• Review manufacturer acknowledgments, address variances, update information in computer
• Work with sales and project coordinator on delivery and installation coordination
• Execute purchase of punch items necessary to complete installation
